Literary Summer Camp by Takhte Writers & Publishers (26 May - 6 Jun) | Palam Vihar Gurgaon

Takhte Writers & Publishers, in collaboration with Kalasthali, presents the Literary Summer Camp 2025. A creative and educational space for children aged 8 to 15 years. Set over two enriching weeks, this camp is designed to spark imagination, build writing skills, and strengthen communication abilities. With a focus on moving “From Rote to Relevance,” campers will dive deep into the world of language, expression, and storytelling under the guidance of expert mentors.

Camp Highlights:

• Creative writing workshops: essays and stories
• Poetry recitation with focus on voice and intonation
• Debate and public speaking practice
• Grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension exercises
• Digital storytelling and handwriting improvement

Led by Goldie Kasturia (Founder & Sr Fellow, English Literature) and Dr. Shivani Kasturia (Head, Takhte), the program combines fun and learning in a friendly and supportive environment. The sessions will be held Monday to Friday, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, between May 26 and June 6, 2025.

On the final day, campers will receive certificates and enjoy a celebration of their learning journey. Select pieces will be featured in Takhte’s online VOV magazine, offering young writers an opportunity to be published. This camp is perfect for children eager to explore different literary genres, express their ideas confidently, and become stronger communicators.
